To keep the site free, we may show advertising. We do not sell in-game items on Cookie-Clicker.us (no micro-transactions). If an ad seems inappropriate, please screenshot it (or copy the ad URL) and email us so we can investigate.

Privacy & data

  • No account required: We don’t require sign-ups to play.
  • Local saving: Game progress is stored in your browser’s local storage (and/or cookies) on the device you use.
  • Children’s information: We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us and we’ll delete it.

How to clear or control saved progress

  1. Open your browser settings.
  2. Find “Privacy” or “Site data.”
  3. Search for cookie-clicker.us and clear its data (this resets game progress on that device/browser).

Tip: Clearing all cookies/site data logs you out of other sites, so target only cookie-clicker.us if possible.

Is there multiplayer or chat?

No. There is no in-game chat on Cookie-Clicker.us.

How is progress saved?

Progress is saved locally in the browser on that device. Switching devices or clearing site data resets progress.

Are there in-game purchases?

No. We do not offer purchases on our site.

Will my child see ads?

Possibly. Ads help keep the site free. We work to keep ads appropriate; report any issues to us.

What data do you collect?

We aim to collect as little as possible—primarily basic analytics and data necessary to run the site. We do not knowingly collect children’s personal information.

Can I turn off or limit saving?

My child lost progress. Can you restore it?
